Happy Fourth of July

The United States is really a wonderful place to be, even though there is quite a bit of disagreement amongst political rivals and things get silly sometimes, there are not too many places in the world where you can be 3000 miles apart and still live the same way as each other, there are not a lot of other places where you can call your president an idiot on National television and not get reprimanded or imprisoned, and there is no other place where the military makes you feel more secure than in this country!

On Memorial Day, good blogging friend, Marissa, who is unfortunately on blogging hiatus, did a tribute post to the troops, she has current family members in the military. It was her last post and is still the first post on her site, WhaHappen. (Take the time to check this out, it is worth it!) Some of you have been there already, but I think that those of you that have not will appreciate it! Some of the later comments on the post are unrelated banter between a few of us trying to pry her out of retirement, she still comments and reads the blog!
See, I am not always silly! Have a safe and happy 4th of July, I will be trying to water ski! I do mean trying! LOL!
