Time flies, except for when you are paying off a loan. It seems like there have been 8 Christmas mornings since I started paying my 5 year auto loan. They need to make a viagra type pill for common sense. The funny thing about the transformer robots, is that they are advanced beings from the deepest realms of the universe, and they just happen to form into Kenworths and Camaros! I like how the scale for rating a hurricane sounds so scientific, but when you really look at it, it is just a scale of windspeeds, a third grader could have thought it up. Why was Archie Bunker considered a bigot, yet, George Jefferson was not? I had a friend in high school that actually got Cat Scratch Fever from a cat. I was watching some videos of me when I was in my early 20's, it was really depressing, I should post some! When you watch a movie, do you ever recast it in your head, trying to decide who might be better in a role? Is there anyone that you work with who annoys you to the point where you hate going to work because of them? I have a co-worker that is so far up my ass that his name should be "Colonoscopy". Is it going to rain every afternoon this Summer??? I am starting to wonder why anyone would ever want to save a rain forest? (That is a joke, please refrain from lectures on saving the planet! LOL!) When you are working construction in an existing neighborhood, someone always gets pissed at you for being there. Do they really think that I want to be there? In the original "Star Wars " Movies, there were only like 2 women in the whole galaxy! Is there any wonder that the princess was named "Leia"! In "Die Hard 2" planes were circling Dulles airport for hours, waiting to run out of fuel. There are only about 700 major airports within an hour of flight time that they could have landed at! I have an irrational fear of being an organ donor, fear that maybe they might not try quite as hard to save me! I know, it is silly!Speaking of silly and funny, visit The Un Mom!!!

My boys have kept me busy driving them around today!! Oh.. and I tutored a girl about 4 hours to help her pass a test tomorrow. I have a lot of time invested in this class with her. WE WILL PASS IT!!! Anyway I am bummed that I got here late....

Teaching rocks because you can shut your door and hide from your coworkers. Plus, I know the gym teacher. So, I can hide in the athletic office with the door shut. Life is good when you make the right friends.
Interesting about the organ donor thing. I am signed up for it. In general, it is never a good idea to be at the hospital alone when you are sick. You need someone to help you make decisions or get someone to help you. Although after a couple ER visits.... I know how to get their attention.
If you ever find a pill for common sense, please hook me up - I'd be slipping it into hubby's morning coffee to help out... ;)
