People are always asking me why I don't write a book. I will explain.......
I get up before sunrise every morning.

Then I go do stuff like this....

Then I go home and have to do this.....
And this......
and this.....
Of course, there are always home improvement projects......
And squeeze in a little time for the dreaded treadmill.....
Of course, there has to be some relaxation time....
And then when I do get time to write, I have to transfer it over from this...
...to the computer, because I end up writing in my work van most of the time! And let us not forget the most important thing of all. I always have to have time for........
I think that maybe I just did!

You did, indeed. Your pictures are worth tens of thousands of words.
you gotta make time for the most important things...smiles.
I love your picture book!
Good thing that while you're doing every one of those things throughout the day, we're always communicating in some way. People would laugh at us if they knew how much time we spend talking, texting, and emailing each other!
I love you, honey!
Blueviolet- Like I have told you. There is nothing on this list that is as important to me as you are.
I love you always, Baby!
Great List and Pix!!! (especially cause Blues in it!!!!)
Yep! I think you just wrote one too! The Wonder Husband feels the same way about ol' DT. Dreaded Treadmill.
Did you have to saw the hook out of the shark? I need to know cuz I am going fishing again this summer and I need to be informed.
Ah. Now we understand. :) But since you written like a bazillion short stories, you'd just have to pick your top 12 or so and submit them as a book!
i still think that was a saw and you were hacking off the shark head for everyone to see. you're a sick puppy
very fun to get a little peek at your life! I'm glad you have you proirities straight!
Hey, I think you just wrote your first picture book. Baby steps. LOL - Always time for LOVE Hugs to you both.
I think you are writing a book with your blog. You can actually make it into a book directly from blogger ! And BTW, I'd like to just say that I
absolutely get giddy every time you mention your love for Blueviolet. I am so happy for both of you !
What a great post! You have a beautiful yard! Wow!
That's a lot of dirt for one post....
:)
Sometimes, there are no words.
What on earth are you doing to that poor bathroom? :)
I sure hope you're not driving when you are writing in your work van!! ;)
Sounds like you are just as busy as I and I am all for silent posts!!
Well, the first part of your day looks pretty familiar to me. but, I never ever saw fish in half! Shame on you!
Wonderful photo review of your day(s), Otin. When you are ready to write a book, you will do it. :)
Nothing beats a full life!
i loved this post with all the great pictures of your day! very nicely put, otin..
maybe you need one of those lil electronic laptop notebooks so you could just type everything in your truck, and then transfer it to your puter? would that be easier?
ok now, get back to work!
;)

Love this post, Otin. :-)
Otins Story! A very full & wonderful one. Thanks for sharing a slice of your life with us.
It sounds like, one of the best chapters(Violet) has just begun!
I'm so glad you don't saw the heads off of sharks.
Your life is full. I think your sequel with BV will be the best yet.
Jaime's comment made me laugh -- my theory is do what you truly makes you happy when you have free time. :-)
Books will come and go but the writing endures past the page it is intended to be on.
You're so adorable!!! I think the book will happen when/if it is meant to....
Happy Today!
Good thing it's getting on summer, so outside showers will be mandatory.... Thanks for the shark disclaimer! -J
Very good book! Busy, busy, busy! :)
I totally thought you were sawing that fish's head off, lol! And I wouldn't care if you were, fyi.
You do the same kind of work my dad does.
That's a really sweet list. And it IS practically a book in itself :)
Someday you will...
You are a busy guy that's for sure.
I like the photos of your work place.
You have a big yard to take care of. Good thing help is on the way! Smile.
Sounds to me...like you have your priorities lined up just right!
That was fun!! Thank God you explained about the hook removing tool. I thought I was looking at a beheading. :0
Book schmook, you get to play with real life Tonka toys. That's gold.
How neat you get to play with big toys!
Thanks for the pix :)
Stay happy, it suits you!
I loved this! I'm such a voyeur! And you have a dishwasher! Talk about the easy life! hahaha
hey otin, i loved this! was really nice to see for myself that you're 'real', not just a figment of my blogging imagination! and who doesn't love a guy who does his own dishes???
I see your point. Besides, I think you should write vignettes for Hollywood. Forget the book.
My Dad was a heavy equipment operator.
I think it's so sweet that you and BV are dating. I must have missed the back story. She's a sweetheart.
I'm SO glad you said that was NOT a saw, lol. I was gonna call you a big meanie.
lol.
Glad someone's on the same page as me as to the dreaded "why haven't you written a book yet?" question? I keep hoping though...
I wrote a book...in fact I wrote two..but publishing a book is a whole different ballgame. I started reading about the craft and determined that it would be awhile before I write another book...
You and blueviolet are too cute! I'm so happy for both of you.
I don't blame you for not writing a book, I don't know how you get everything in!
Have a great day!
you must indeed just wrote a book. always make time for the things in life that you love.
I totally thought that was a saw! But I love the pictures. Especially of your dishes and laundry. I'm always doing dishes and laundry! :)
Yay, I love pictures! I've always wanted to operate a tractor (is that what it's called?), I think that'd be so fun! The city was building a parking structure next to my office building and I loved just looking out the window watching all the shovels move.
I'm a dork.
I'm so glad you told us that wasn't a saw.
When are we going to see pictures of Blue Violet? You and she - together?? Huh? Pretty please? I want to see what new love looks like.
love the pic list. i definitely agree with you on the fishing for relaxation. i love fishing. i barely ever get to do it b/c its hard to find the time and when i do there is pretty much no where that you can go locally to fish. you would have to pay alot of money for one of those fishing charters.
Sounds like your life is an open book....with a great story to tell. :)
This is the best post ever, by far! ;)
I have no idea how you write it down all on paper! I can't do that!!
And? All sorts of awesome!
it's been awhile since i've been on blogger. it was great to see a post with pictures of you. and of course, i'm still loving the otin-blueviolet lovey-dovey comments!!!
Books are boring compared to everything else you got... the only thing I would resist is the treadmill!!
I'm exhausted!
But those photos of you running that heavy equipment sent chills up my spine. I do love me a macho macho man. A macho man who makes his bed and does his own laundry.
AND writes!
But where's your BlueViolet time?
You pretty much did just write a book - after all, a picture is worth 1000 words, so you wrote about 18,500 words. ;)
Life does seem to get in the way. I keep saying that I will write a book when I retire. With the current state of the economy...... that seems a distant dream.
how sweet...
gotta love blue violet
That was a very interesting and informative pictorial! And now we all know you just a little bit better, Otin.
One day when you are retired you can if you want to!! Just keep on writing!!!
You have better reasons than I do. I just don't have the talent or willpower.
One of the best autobiographies I've ever read here! It's a very interesting way to describe yourself (so I will likely steal it).
And yes, I remember about the blog Muzac. Thanks for stopping by. Of late, I've been a bad blog visitor as I'm deep in the heart of editing.
